modular tooling inserts with up to 4 cavities per mold. The quick mold change system is based on a master unit die and supports 6.5 in. x 8 in. and 8 in. x 8 in. modified Hasco inserts, greatly reducing part and tooling costs and providing faster cycle times. Piranha Plastics' focus on hot runner technology and modular tool systems allows us to provide higher quality and lower cost molded parts while not passing traditional hot runner costs on to the customer. Hot runner technology allows faster cycle times, while minimizing material costs and reducing secondary operations. |
